Dr. Yoon-Bok Jhee
Dr. Jhee has been practicing medicine for 40 years at Englewood Hospital and Medical Center and has been in private practice since 1974. She began her medical career in Seoul, Korea at Yonsei University Medical College in 1961. In 1967, Dr. Jhee moved to the United States and completed her residency in Pathology at New York Hospital Cornell Medical Center. Her residency in obstetrics and gynecology was completed at Brooklyn Jewish Hospital in New York. She became board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology in 1976. Since then, she has attended numerous post graduate courses, including: Advanced Maternal and Fetal Medicine, Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility, Advanced Techniques in Gynecological Surgery and Sonography.
Dr. Jhee has three children, four grandchildren and stays active playing tennis, golf, skiing and swimming.
Dr. Erica Song
Dr. Song has been a partner at Englewood OB-GYN Women’s Group since 2001. As Dr. Jhee’s daughter, Dr. Song has benefitted by developing an early appreciation of the art of medicine and having her mom as a wonderful mentor.
Dr. Song earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Massachusetts Institute of Technology. She graduated with honors from New York University School of Medicine with her doctorate degree in 1997. She completed her internship and residency in OB-GYN at New York University in 2001, during which time she won numerous teaching, research and clinical awards. Dr. Song was board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology in 2003
Dr. Song has continued her training in the latest surgical techniques and is a certified DaVinci robotic surgeon and Dr. Song is also an active member of several committees at Englewood Hospital and Medical Center.
Dr. Song is married with two children and enjoys cooking, travel, skiing and hiking.
Dr. Sonia Kim
Dr. Kim is a native of Chicago, Illinois. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Loyola University. She graduated from Ross University School of Medicine in 2005. Dr. Kim completed a surgery internship at SUNY Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY in 2007.She completed her residency and training in OB-GYN at Wayne State University/Detroit Medical Center in 2012.
Dr. Kim’s hobbies include running, kickboxing, reading and baking.
